Blind Dating is a romantic comedy film directed by James Keach that centers on Danny Valdessecchi (Chris Pine), a handsome and charming young man who undergoes an experimental procedure in order to allow him to see for the first time in his life.
Blind since birth, Danny, at the push of his unusual family with a psychotherapist mother (Jane Seymour) and eye doctor father (Stephen Tobolowsky), allows surgeons to implant a microchip into his brain that connects to a camera, which gives him the illusion of sight.
During the tests he meets a beautiful Indian nurse, Leeza (Anjali Jay).

The vision center of the brain is located in the occipital lobe at the back of the head.
