Updating squeezecenter on readynas duo

Rated 3.93/5 based on 805 customer reviews

The update process changes only the firmware; upgrading your Ready NAS firmware does not modify or make changes your data. If no firmware update is available, or if the system is unable to properly check for updates, you are notified that your system is using the most current firmware.

Before any upgrade, NETGEAR recommends that you make a current back up of your data, especially data that cannot be replaced. If a newer firmware update is available, you are prompted to update your system.

You can elect to perform a remote update from your Ready NAS management interface or you can download the relevant image below and perform a local update.

For more information, visit the Ready NAS SDK wiki on Git Hub.

Note: If your Ready NAS storage system uses RAIDiator 5 firmware or earlier, visit Ready NAS Apps & Add-ons.

It is written directly to your system's read-only memory.
